By day, Takeo is the president of an up-and-coming IT company. But by night, he's a total otaku. The problem is, for the past 17 years, he's been desperately in love with someone - the self-centered Fumi, a man who happens to hate otakus. No matter how many times Fumi rejects Takeo, the he refuses to give up! But now all of a sudden Fumi is accepting a date with him...?!

What I thought about the manga
Well this manga was alright not really anything that made me love the book. It was another one shot story, where it only takes one manga to complete the story. This book also had a small side story at the end, which I really didn't like because it was so bland. This story would have been a bit better if it was expanded into two manga's to tell the story instead of one. There was so much more detail the author could of gone into if she really cared about the story.

The characters are interesting and so very different. Takeo is a otaku which I can actualy releate too because I'm basically an Otaku as well, judging by my many anime collections and my +700 manga books. Otaku means a huge anime/manga collector, meaning anything that has to do with anime or manga that person collects and buys. I can see why someone like Fumi would be a little annoyed with Takeo who is very geeky. They are friends and so different yet they find a way to be together. I find that cute and I feel so very sorry for Takeo who had this crush for 17 years.

The romance is so idiotic, I hated it so much, and usually I don't really hate romance but I did in this book. Though I did feel bad a few parts when Takeo did anything to make Fumi happy even sending him a girl, which made me sad. Though besides that I hated the fact that it looked like Fumi was forced into the relationship. Everyone kept telling him you like Takeo, you just don't know it and then boom he's decides to go out with Takeo and loves him *eye twitch* it was just too stupid. That's why I think the manga needed to be two volumes long to give Fumi more time to fall in love instead of them doing it right away . . .

The plot is okay nothing really special for me to go into. . .

Manga Design

The design is okay for it being a 2006 manga book. Not the best I've seen from that time frame but it's okay to say the least. I really do like how Fumi is drawn he's cute, it's Takeo that annoys me because of how geeky he looks lol but besides that the mangka took the time to draw them well. The background is drawn most of the time and really isn't very needed in other frames. Their expressions tell you how their feeling like in the picture on the left and I like that in a manga.

Overall
It's an okay manga if you want to read and check out, simple romance and all nothing very special maybe something to pass the time. Not to mention I think I've read some other manga from this author and they were pretty good.

The year is 2032, sixteen years after a deadly virus—and the vaccine intended to protect against it—wiped out most of the earth’s population. The night before eighteen-year-old Eve’s graduation from her all-girls school she discovers what really happens to new graduates, and the horrifying fate that awaits her.

Fleeing the only home she’s ever known, Eve sets off on a long, treacherous journey, searching for a place she can survive. Along the way she encounters Caleb, a rough, rebellious boy living in the wild. Separated from men her whole life, Eve has been taught to fear them, but Caleb slowly wins her trust...and her heart. He promises to protect her, but when soldiers begin hunting them, Eve must choose between true love and her life.

My Thoughts on the Book
For a while now, since early January I've been wanting to get a hold of this book. Every blog that I've seen this book on really liked it. I was so happy when I won a chance to get this book from the Book depository! I actually dropped a werewolf book I was reading to read this. Which is surprising because to me werewolf books come before any other genera. I was so glad though that I've read this book, it was great and surprising. I never knew what was going to be next and that's what I liked most about the series.

The Character Eve, she is just a normal girl attending school until she learn the horrible truth about it. She loves her friends and always talks about them though out the book. She's brave despite her situation in how she grew up and being mostly by herself when she meets Caleb. Caleb is such a sweet boy, the way the book describes him is that he's really cute, though I never liked a guy with dreads . . . haha. He's so a boy when he leaves Eve after a miss understanding but you can see how much he loves her when he comes back. Arden is a hard girl to understand, she hates her life and tries not to get close to anyone. Though soon you see that she slowly starts to open up to Eve and they become friends.

The plot is great, I love everything about it. With a lot of twists and turns in the story that causes you to laugh and then cry. It's a really heart retching book capturing your attention from beginning to end. It's been a while since I found a book that I finish reading it in two days, that's how good this plot was. The romance was slow and sweet and the friendships were strong though out the book. The betrayals were the worse but you love how Eve gets though it.

Cover Design

The cover design on the paper back is so great. I really do like how it shines when you hold the book a curtain way. It's like a shiny pokemon card to me when I look at it haha. Anyways I love the dystopian feel of the book seeing the grey broken down bridge fading in the background. The girl is obviously Eve but for some reason she looks like a little girl here. They could have done a better picture where the girl doesn't look so damn young but other then that the background is perfect. As for the Title of the book I love the script type feel of it. It's pretty and eye catching all good quality's for a great cover design. Having the author's name at the bottom in white also works well with the book not hindering it in any way like I've seen in other book designs.

Overall
It's a great future type of book, the adventure is great, the romance is really good. Everything about this book I would recommend to other people to read right away. It really draws you into the scenes and characters. I cried in a few parts of this book and it was really bad. You will really love this book trilogy you can count on me to pick up the next two books!

After graduating from high school, best friends Tachibana and Otani decided to move-in together as more-than-friends. Although their feelings are very real, the secret nature of their relationship, and the words that have gone unsaid between them, leave room for doubt. When a chance encounter reintroduces the pair to Yuki, a former classmate, Otani becomes suspicious of Tachibana's close friendship with her. Will rumors from their high school days together spin Otani's insecurities out of control? Or could it be that Tachibana and Yuki r
e"}{ally have rekindled an old flame?

My Thoughts about this manga
Ah well, can I say this was the most confusing, mixed up backwards manga I've ever read...It takes place in the middle of the story, you don't know anything of their past or how they met, or why they are together. Then when it's just gets good at the end of the first volume it skips to a different story all together. . . This would have been the worse manga ever if it wasn't for the fact that it had a second volume and GUESS WHAT! the second volume should actually be the first volume. The Second volume takes place before the events in the first volume. That was so stupid I couldn't believe it did something like that, what was wrong with the mangaka to do something as stupid as that! Though I can say this rating would have been a lot lower if it wasn't for the second volume. The second volume really drew me in. The second volume is what I like and it brought me more into the characters more so then the first volume.

The characters are ackward from what i've read, they don't tell each other their feelings, they just go right into the relationship. The first volume your confuse as to who confess to who but you learn in the second volume they never confessed just went right into moving in with each other and acting as lovers. It looks like more like a friendship then anything else, gah they bug me so much in the first volume but they were so cute in the second one.

The plot was okay besides the confusing part. You learn in the second one that they were in highschool when they met and were friends. Otani that started to have feelings for Tachibana more so then their own girlfriends. They try stuff and soon they deside to live with each other which you learn about in the first volume.

Manga Design

The drawings aren't all that bad, since it is from the early 2000's. The drawings back then are really simple but this manga there is detail in some panels and less in others. You can see their expressions on their faces but not a lot of variety. The character aren't really that cute either so that's the downside.

Overall
I wouldn't reccomend this book it's confusing and if your new to reading manga this wouldn't be a good thing for you to read.

Katsura, a second year in his high school's archery club, has a hard time controlling his nerves. His "secret weapon" is his brother's best friend and childhood buddy, Sou! One hug from Sou and Katsura's nerves are soothed to a peaceful calm. But he can't keep Sou around him forever. As he wonders how he'll survive without Sou's hugs, his friend Kouichi suddenly asks if he can be the one to save him, and kisses him! What now?!

My Thoughts on the Manga
This manga was a very cute manga, After the first volume I had to take a break for a few days before reading the other two though. I believe the first volume was enough, the other two was more like fillers then anything else. Though they were also a great read too but not nessassary.

Katsura is a cute boy who became hurt when Sou told him that he was just doing Katsura a favor by hugging him (hiding his real feelings). Being hurt Katsura's archery started to fail, not to mention it became worse after Sou confesses his feelings. Yes most of this manga revolves around archery and how Katsura struggles to become a good archer. You see he becomes more and more confident in himself as the manga goes. By the end of the manga series you see that he trusts his archery more and actually hits the target quite a few times. Sou has to struggle with himself in trying to believe in Katsura and their relationship and how Sou should trust that Katsura decisions.

The relationship in this manga is cute and simple. There is a love triangel which you somewhat feel sorry for the other guy. Kouichi loves Katsura as well but knows he can't win against Sou but he doesn't give up and makes small moves on Katsura despite him being in a relationship with Sou. I love these three characters and they work well with each other.

Manga Design

The design for this manga is simple and cute. It's doesn't have a lot of detail most of the time. Only sometimes does the designer plan to put detail in the panels. It is a type of style for the time this manga came out. Though I would have liked if they put a bit more detail in the facial features. I don't really mind it because of the story, since the story was alright I didn't mind the type of drawing it was.

Overall
If you like a cute story and simple story check this manga out and read it. I'm sure you will like the cute story.

Who does she truly belong with? The Daylights or the Midnights?

YA Paranormal Romance recommended for ages 16 and up.

My Thoughts about the book
That is a seriously short summery . . . Even I didn't know what it was about by reading it. I found the second novel better then the first. It was a lot of jumping around between who was telling the story but that kept it interesting. You would always want to continue to read so that you can get to the next story teller to see what's happening with them. I'm not always a fan of when that happens in a story but it works well here. What I didn't like though is this word ---> OK. All throughout this novel and the last novel all I kept seeing was the word OK. It bugs the crap out of me, either because they use it alot or because it's in caps and it just annoys me seeing it in the middle of the page. Yes, OK is a great word to describe yourself but couldn't the author use okay the right way of spelling it instead of the caps way.

This book you got to know more about who Jaeden is now. Ever since she was taken in the first book and tortured she hasn't been like her normal happy self. So as you saw in the first book she ran away from home and met up with a vampire. You got to really see how she is now what she's doing and how she's found and brought home by Ryder. Who before this never notice Jaeden and then boom he feels something for her and yea it's just so cute!! Caia is coming into her new powers when she vists the center and learns things fast. I think in this book you see how strong she can be. Lucien is still a sturborn idiot well they both are but at least it's soon fixed by just three words.

The Romance in this book between Caia and Lucien is rough and non-existent at the most part till near the ending after Lucien finally says those three words. Then they get together and I was so happy, I thought "finally you idiots!" lol and the chemistry between Jaeden and Ryder are so sweet! I love them together, they acted so cute and I love how old fashion Ryder is dispite how annoyed Jaeden became haha!

As for the plot it was great, it mostly took place at the center of the Daylights and it was great. You got to learn more about Caia powers and about the head of the coven. Not only is it about Caia and Lucien but it also talks about Jaeden and Ryder. They are friends of Caia and Lucien, the story jumps from Caia and Lucien to Jaeden and Ryder and how they are actually mates (finally). Ryder is so cute when he gets all jealous haha!

Cover Design

Wow is all I gotta say, another beautiful cover they came up with. I'm not to sure on why it's called River cast though . . . though it might be describing her power which is water . . . even still why river cast . . . anyways the girl in the front I think it's Jaeden because of the bright blue eyes. The glowing title works very well I liek the glowing of it giving a bit of a mystical feel to it. The author's name at the top of the book could have been moved to be placed below "A tale of Lunarmorte" it didn't need to be at the top over the girls face. Even under the word River would have worked.

Overall
It was a great second novel, everything about it was exciting and I reccomand you people to read this series. A few twists in this one which was very great!!

Enter a world of fierce wolves, stunning magic and romance...

It’s bad enough feeling different among the human crowd, but feeling different among wolves?

No one said returning to her pack would be easy, especially after ten years without them, but seventeen year old Caia Ribeiro is unprepared for the realities of the transition. Raised in a world where kids aren’t scared by bedtime tales of the bogeyman but by the real life threat of enemy supernaturals who might come creeping into their community to kill them in their sleep, Caia is used to the darkness; she’s used to the mystery and the intrigue of the ancient underworld war she’s bound to by chance of birth. What she’s having trouble with are pack members treating her with wary suspicion, the Elders tucking secrets behind their backs out of her sightline, and her young Alpha, Lucien, distracting her, with a dangerous attraction, from her decision to uncover the truth.

But as the saying goes ‘the truth will out’ and when it does, Caia will only have so long to prepare herself before the war comes pounding on their door threatening to destroy the safe, secret lives of the wolves… and the girl they protect.

My Thoughts on the Book
This book caught me on surprise over and over again. Sometimes I knew what was going on, other times I was so surprised I was like "WHAT". There was only one problem I had with this book and that was because at the beginning of the novel it felt like it was starting a few chapters into the book. I was reading it and I felt like a missed something and tried going backwards in the ebook. It should have at least given a bit background before starting where it did, it just confused the hell out of me.

The characters were great, I love Caia and her personalty. She's shy at first because of being away from the pack for 10 years and wasn't sure how to act with the pack but slowly she grows into her self more and more. She becomes more confident in herself and what role she's to play in the pack. Though I hate how stubborn she is towards Lucien but I can understand it because of how much he lied to her. After what he lied about I would be pissed too. Lucien is a hot sexy werewolf who I would love to have mad at me. Something about werewolves and there aggressiveness always makes me love them more and more even if they are mean. Lucien is the alpha and shows possessiveness towards Caia and gets made when Sebastian hangs around her. I would wish he would suck up his werewolf pride and just confess! I was so pissed at how much they fraught because of something small and mutual.  Oh werewolf Jealousy is so hot!

The Romance is slow but you can see the attraction between Caia and Lucien. You can see how Caia is struggling with thinking that Lucien doesn't like her because of how plan she was. She kept telling herself how it was only a crush and nothing else. Then in the middle of the story, they sleep together and it destroyed everything. I'm not sure how the second book will be like hopefully there will be more Romance but I guess we'll see.

The plot was great, it took a whole new turn to a werewolf story because of how it's mixed in with magic and other supernaturals. Having Greek myths into the mix adds a great background to the story on where the supernaturals come from. Besides the little skip ahead on the first page of the book I really do like it. What I'm wondering if there will be any other love interest to make this series interesting in the next book. Since they are already mates in the first book not sure how that's going to work in the second book, guess I have to wait and see. This book is rated 16+ because of how much they discribe when the two main characters slept together. It was so hot but it's not meant for younger teens.

Cover Design

The eyes are so eye catching, the bright green eyes draw you in. It stands out so well against the blond hair. The title font fits so well with what the story is about. Though I would fix the second O int he word moon because it's just to close to the M when all other letters are spaced further apart and aren't touching except for the P though it's not as much as the O. The author's name looks so out of place being placed in the right corner of the book. It would of been better if it's placed further down the page next to the title.

Overall
It's a really great read if you like Werewolf, witches, fairies and vampires(they aren't shown yet except at very end). This book will keep you interested from start to finish.

Where Mythology and Dystopia meet...

Piper’s world is dying. Global warming kills every living thing on Earth, and each day brings hotter temperatures and heat bubbles which threaten to destroy humanity. Amid this Global Heating Crisis, Piper lives with her mother who suffocates her more than the chaotic climate. When her mother is called away to meet the father Piper has been running from her entire life, Piper seizes an opportunity for freedom.

But when Piper discovers a world of mythology she never knew existed, she realizes her world is not the only one in crisis. While Gods battle for control of the Underworld, Piper's life spirals into turmoil, and she struggles to find answers to secrets kept from her since birth. And though she’s drawn to her classmate Shayne, he may be more than he claims. Piper has to choose whom she can trust and how she can save the people she loves even if it means the end of everything she’s ever known.

My Thoughts on the Book
This book I wasn't planning to read it any time soon, but my kobo messed up and poof here it is and I've read it. I knew it was going to be about Mythology, but what I didn't know is that it would be about Greek Myths and that the author would take it on a whole new level. A world going into a massive heating crises and the gods are the cause, with a twist as to who. I was so drawn into this book I even told my friend about it who loves Greek myths.

The Characters are so well written in the terms of the gods, my friend knew what god was which way before I learned it. The way the author describes Ares is hot but can't compare to the Ares on the left which is from the show Xena. He is so drool worthy, I had a major crush on him when Xena played on tv. To bad he died in a horse accident before the show was over.  Though believe me when I say the Ares in the book looks nothing like Ares in Xena but I can't help but let me imagination picture this sexy god on the left.

Anyways Piper the main heroin in the book is both strong but weak towards her mother. She wants to rebel but her mother is so smothering not letting her go out or even date. I hate her mother so much because of how she acts towards her daughter, not letting her breath with how close she hovers. Though you learn later why that's the case. Chole Piper's friend is annoying, she knows the dangers and ignores it. I couldn't stand her at the beginning and I still couldn't stand her at the end. For Hades I had to think hard on not picturing the guy from Xena. The way the author described him he is so hot, especially the eyes. It would be so cool to have his eyes!

The romance is really slow, she had to choose between two boys, which cause her to struggle to pick one. She had a connection with one but the other she felt drawn to him like she couldn't turn away. She had to realize who she is first before anything went further. Though when it does it's sweet and romantic and I would give anything to be in her shoes.

The plot was great, everything fitted well, the plot worked out for the best. Though I gotta say this book went further then I thought a young Adult book should go. A few times when they described Aphrodite, I was just so surprised, not to mention how there was also a penis described in it as well. I just believe it's a bit more then just a normal Young adult book with all the references. Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it though, I'm just saying the way they described stuff is way beyond a normal YA book hehe!!.

Cover Design

I really do love this cover, the picture of the girl standing in front of a Sun is great. It shows how hot everything is in the background. Not to mention that it shows how the ground is cracked showing you that it is in a world where everything is dying. Even the title with the O glowing gives it a celestial look to it. The author's name also fits well underneath the book. I really do love how everything is design and I will differently pick it up in a book store if I see it.

Overall

I recommend this book to everyone whether you like Myths or not it's a great story with great characters. Just warning you the sexual descriptions is more then normal YA books.

Riya Narukawa is a high school freshman with a tremendous talent for the violin, and an equally large bag of mental issues. He seems to have a split personality. After injuring his own hand to compromise his playing ability, he winds up on the doorstep of college student Atsushi Ikeda. Atsushi's a nice guy, maybe too nice and generous. He takes Riya in for the night and helps him with his hand injury. Atsushi realizes there is much more Riya than is on the surface, and learns just how difficult Riya's life actually is. Not only does he have a personality disorder, but there's an aggressive senior at his school who has his eye on him. Atsushi becomes a sort of safe haven for Riya, an escape from the life of music he's been bound to.

What I thought about the Manga
To read a manga that has to do with Split personality's is new to me. I've never came acrosss this concept before and I got to say it was really well done. I love the whole plot line that made up 3 volumes of manga. If it was any shorter then that I don't believe I would of liked it as much as I do now. I didn't like reading that the split personalties were cause because of abuse his father gave him but dispite that Atsushi Ikeda stayed by Riya's side, loving both parts of him.

Riya has two personalties both of whom I like. One side is called White, that is the calm, vilolin loving Riya that loves to go to school to play his Viloin, the white Riya also has no clue about the black Riya. Then there is the Black Riya who doesn't like the vilollin those he tried to cut his fingers off, he also a trouble maker and hates everything about the white Riya and the people who only love him. The black Riya is the one runs into Atsushi and when the white Riya wakes up he gets afraid and runs off. I really love the back and forth motion of Riya it's interesting and I love how Atsushi tries to deal with both of them the best he can. Atsushi Ikeda is just a normal college boy but he soon starts to take care of Riya in Riya's apartment at the request of Riya's Uncle. This made the story even better I find because now Atsushi is by Riya's side everyday and he starts to develop feelings for Riya.

The romance is slow but is sweet between the two. Dispite the fact that black Riya kept trying to make Atsushi sleep with him, Atsushi denyed him because he didn't think Riya loved him back. I think having that trate where Atsushi cares so much about him but won't act on his feelings untill Riya was ready is so cute I love him for it. There is another guy that Riya runs into a lot who tries many times for forcfully take Riya but it never goes right and I'm glad for that. Atsushi and Riya are meant to be together!

Design
The drawings are really well done in this manga. The drawings are cute and has tone of detail. You can see the emotion of the characters right away. Even the hair has detail in it, this story became much more interesting because of the great drawings. The background as well is almost always drawn which is great.

Overall
I highly recommend reading this manga, it has a great plot, great characters, even the romance is great and sweet. You will really love this yaoi manga because I did!

Toru is a shy and quiet student who has developed a special crush on his close friend Ryoji, the most popular member of the high school swim team. In front of Ryoji, Toru hides his feelings and acts as if he is just one of Ryoji's good friends, but in a moment out of the blue his world will be turned upside down as Ryoji will confess a secret desire for Toru. Dazzled, Toru can barely hide his excitement for Ryoji and quickly accepts his offer. As time passes, Toru's happiness begins to fade knowing that his affair with Ryoji was just a fling based out of Ryoji's sexual curiosity.

Toru, adamant about his feelings for Ryoji, confides in another one of his close friend, Kashiwazaki, about his dilemma. The two set off to devise a plan to test Ryoji's true intentions by faking a romantic relationship. Soon after, a frustrated and jealous Ryoji attempts to pry Toru out of the arms of Kashiwazaki. Is it just as they planned? Yeah! That is of course until Toru realizes Kashiwazaki wasn't really faking! How could he not have seen it coming?

Both Toru and Ryoji have hidden their feelings from each other in the past, but now they have discovered that they were not the only ones. Will Toru and Ryoji be reunited or will their true feelings for each other go unfulfilled?

My Thoughts on the Manga

So this is how the manga starts:
Ryoji: I Wonder why...
Toru: why what?
Ryoji: When I look at you, I get...turned on

My eyes just practically popped out of my eye sockets! If the author wanted to capture someone's attention in two seconds that was the way to go. I almost dropped my laptop I'm series that's how much that surprised me!! That was the best starting to a yaoi manga so far from what I've read this year hehe!

The characters are all so great in this manga, it's sad that Toru is so scared to confess his true feelings. He just can't bring himself to tell Ryoji despite how far they go. He would rather hurt himself then tell Ryoji the truth that may end their friendship. Ryoji, I just want to smack him so badly, even after Toru tells him no he still continues. He wanted to satisfy his curiosity then listen to Toru when he says no and despite that Toru still likes the guy! I just can't believe how Toru still continued that releationship even when he knows Ryoji is using him. Then comes Kashiwazaki he tells Toru they should date to teach Ryoji a lesson or at least make him see his mistakes. Of course this doesn't work for long becuase Kashiwazaki kisses Toru and Toru relalizies that he was doing the same to Kashiwazaki that he's been doing to Ryoji so he ends it.

The Romance is fast and well it's all on Ryoji. Like I said he didn't care about Toru when he tells him no and even when he was doing that stuff with Toru he was still with his girlfriend. This romance is complex but it make sence in the end.

despite everything that happens I really do like the plot, it's different and interesting. Not to mention I sometimes like it when the relationship is not exactly mutual and I find it works in this situation especially with how it ends. To bad there wasn't much on Kashiwazaki I wish there was more so we can see what happens to him, but oh well.

Design

With it made in 2001 it's really close to the 90's style manga drawings. It's a bit close to the 2003-2004 style so it's in between. I like this style, it's simple and relaxed in it's drawing. Sometimes the background is shown other times it's not but it's fine because it focuses on the characters and their feelings like you see to the left. There is detail in the clothes and expression which is nice to see. The hair is simple and laid back kind of drawing.

Overall

I do reccomand this yaoi manga, it's really cute and it will draw your attnetion in right away. Also it's a great second starter yaoi manga, it's in between shonen-ai and soft yaoi so it's safe for new Yaoi readers who are a bit use to shonen-ai already. Again if you don't know what yaoi or shonen-ai is I reccomand looking it up or you will have a heart attack @_@

Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love -- the deliria -- blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the government demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love.

My Thoughts on the Book
Well gotta say this book was....wow is all I can say, I've never read anything like this before...it's also my second dystopia book I've ever read. This book kept me interested in parts but in other parts I got so bored with the long descriptions that I actually skipped over a few parts in the book. The writer didn't need to be so descriptive about the main characters feelings or discription of things. Only one other book I skipped over useless parts and that was Twilight, I'm sorry for comparing the two but it's true. That's the only issue I had with it believe it or not.

Lena is the main character of the story, she is such a incident/immature girl that she reminds me of myself. Though the reason she is incident and immature at the beginning is because of how the government raised the boys and girls apart in different school's so that they don't contract the Love disease. Though when she meets up with Alex everything changes, she slowly starts to break out of the shell the government put around her and starts to see things in a different way. The way Alex treats Lena is so sweet, he's patient given how she was raised and that didn't stop him from coming to her and telling her he liked her. She knew it was wrong but she still couldn't stop herself from loving him back even though she doesn't say the words till near the ending. I think that everything that happens between them is prefect and I wouldn't change a thing.

The plot is so interesting that it draws you in even more into their world. The little snippets of information on "The book of Shh"(the book everyone in the city has to read and follow) on each chapter is also very interesting. I love reading them because I couldn't believe the author came up with something for the start of each chapter. Though half way though the book it just dawned on me,  if the people don't have love in them they are basically sociopath's who don't care about anything. For example a dog was beaten half to death and they just left him by the trash, STILL ALIVE!! I was so pissed off at that scene, not only that but Lena never brought it up again. How can you do anything without love, it just makes sense to me, not to mention for the kids they bring into the world, they even mention how some parents will kill the child for no reason other then the kid crying or bothering them. This world got me so annoyed quite a few times but then I remember it's suppose to be like that, it's suppose to be that kind of world. I was also very angry with the ending, all that was running though my mind was, What the hell just happen!! I couldn't believe how it ended like that, I didn't cry but it was still sad. That type of sacrifice...I still can't believe it...(not going to spoil it your gonna have to read the book to see what I'm talking about)

Cover Design

I gotta say I'm happy they made the new cover which is on the Left. It surpasses the one on the right a lot more because of how the picture of the girl stands out so well. The eye draws you in capturing your attention right away, which is what happen to me when I saw this book on a few other blog sites. The Title on the left is professional looking, the glow adds contrest against the light background and the author's name fits well under the small blurb and the font fits with the background image.

As for the Title and font on the right it is beautiful but to have it all one color with only some image of the girl in the back makes the cover boring to look at. I don't know who came up with the idea of cropping a image inside words...it's just never should be done in the design world for a book, Especially with that weird color!

Overall
I recommend for everyone to read this book, if your a fan of the hunger games you will be a fan of this. It has it's fair share of adventure and fights so you diffidently be pleased with this!

Would have been prefect if it wasn't for the long descriptions...

My Thoughts on the Book
This book wasn't what I expected when I bought it. I was looking forward to a book on what I thought was about shapeshifters, but no shapeshifters appeared until later into the book. When they did appear, they were half man, half beast, not the traditional shapeshifters I'm used to. These shifters were also aliens which surprised me because I didn't think this book would have aliens in it. They were humans, mostly but they lived on a different remote planet. As one of the characters pointed out, by drawing the solar system on the ground then tossing a rock away from it, that can show how remote they are. Despite this, I didn't expect I would like it as much as I have. I'm looking forward for the release of the second book.

The characters were great, and each had his or her own way of acting about a situation. Kira, our main heroine, was known to be a mouse, but I never saw that in her. While she is timid, as the story continued she does show how strong she really is, such as when she tried to help Lydia when men attacked them. If she was a mouse she would have stayed away from the danger. It angered me when her mother left her, running off with a man instead of taking care of her daughter. Kira wasn't even 18 at the time, making the abandonment even worse for me. Teenager or not, Kira was still a child. Lydia is a sweet girl with a side to her that surprises you. She also has a connection to Kira that allows them to communicate between each other using thoughts. She's very protective of Kira, as she is her only friend. Octavion is a character who catches your attention with his name alone. He's described as having a sculpted chest, leather pants and vest, and being hot. (How do I end up reading so many books with hot guys?) Octavion has a really bad temper, a side effect of being able to transform into a catmonster. He ends up hurting Kira a few times with his temper. Despite that he really is a nice person and cares both for Kira and Lydia. You can see how much he is torn between how to protect them both. He struggles with being around Kira and trying not to hurt her because of how much he loves her.

Octavion and Kira like each other so fast you don't know what you missed it. Yes, Octavion had feelings for Kira already but Kira just met the guy and she started to like him right away. Even when he pushed her around and hurt her she still develop feelings for him. I for one wouldn't like a guy if he made me break an arm. However, they do end up getting together. It's a cute romance, and awkward at times like in most relationships, but it just moves so fast. At one point you seriously thought he was going to purpose to her. I just hope in the second book the romance is more controlled and not as fast.

The plot was great, I loved everything that happened. It's a very action filled book, and moves quickly. I found some ideas interesting, especially the ones from Lydia's and Octavion's home planet. For example, Royal's can turned into a beast when there is a new moon and can't control their hunger when they smell blood from a commoner. I also like the different types of people on that planet. The confrontation with Lydia and her older sister was great. I cried once though because Kira was very badly hurt near the end of the book. I really do like the plot and I'm sure you will too.

Book Design

The book design is great, the bright green eyes catch your attention right away. Everything in the cover gives a bit away of what's in the book but you won't know what till you read it. I love how she is the main character which you will know once you start reading the book. I'm not a fan of the font that was given to the book's title however. It looks like it was scribbled on, and a cleaned Italic font could have had the same effect.

Overall
If you're into the Science fiction, I highly suggest this book. It's also good for a light romance novel and action/adventure fans. It was a great read once you get into it. It's a bit slow at the beginning, but it picks up quickly. Very worth the read.
