Summary
Billionaire bad-boy Oliver Queen has returned to Starling City! Five years on a deserted island has changed his focus from partying and hot women to crime-fighting and cold justice. He's putting his archery talents to good use as the newest super hero on the CW this fall, and in this comic by Geoff Johns and the show's producers: ARROW!

Review
Actually this is really not that bad, it's short but that's how most comic books are. Unlike the show where it tells you the story from Oliver's perspective. This comic book changes that around. It starts with Oliver but then it goes to the bad guy's persepective giving the readers their view on what happen to them in the past and their fight with the green arrow.

We learn more of the white hair girl which was a bad person near the start of the series. (I think since there is two white asian girls but only one was at the begganing of the series. As well as a guy from the note book that Oliver had that was given to him by his father.

If you read this comic book series be ready for lots of differences. It won't be anything like the tvshow and it will be a lot different.

Design

Each chapter has it's own designer, and each designer has their unique style. Though some of the chapters look the same you can tell the minor differences on how the characters look like. The design to the characters give a new life to the Arrow world and it captures your attention from start to finish. The design is so detailed they even did the background in detail too. Which is good for a comic book series.

Excerpt

Aedan paused an inch from Rhosewen’s face, searching for unwillingness, but there wasn’t a refusal to find, only a subtle parting of the plump, pink lips he could no longer resist.
Their first kiss was unhurried, intense and more meaningful than any before it. Eager to accept and prolong, they held each other tightly, memorizing and savoring every taste and feel, every second of every sensation.
By the time they stopped to breathe, they were bathed in moonlight.
“I want to see you again,” Aedan whispered, keeping his fingers buried in soft spirals. He wanted to see her every day for the rest of his life. He wanted to kiss her like that every morning and every night. He wanted to wake up to her aqua eyes forever.
“I’d like that, too,” Rhosewen replied, “but I don’t know if it’s a good idea.”
“I think it’s the best idea I’ve ever had,” he countered.
“We barely know each other,” she argued.
“I’m trying to remedy that,” he returned.
“I’m leaving in a week, Aedan.”
“Are you trying to convince me?” he asked. “Or yourself?”
She didn’t answer, and Aedan took her silence as a good sign. “Have you ever been to the Devil’s Den Nature Preserve?” he asked, keeping her pressed against him, terrified to let go.
“No, but I hear it’s beautiful.”
“It is,” he confirmed. “We could make it there in about an hour and a half. Will you let me take you?”
“When?”
“Tomorrow. We could fly over before sunrise and spend the day there.” He held his breath, waiting for her answer.

Excerpt

Layla closed her eyes, sighing her agreement as Quin’s hands slid under her shirt. He flexed his fingers, inciting goose bumps and a shiver. Then he took her by the ribs and squeezed.

A laugh burst from her diaphragm as she jolted and twisted away, reaching for the safety of the floor, but he pulled her back in.

“No you don’t,” he refused, somehow finding every ticklish spot on her body.

“Quin!”

“What?”

She struggled to breathe as she pushed on his chest. “Stop.”

“Or what?” he challenged, sliding a hand to her thigh.

She yanked in air as she stretched for his neck, and in her desperation, she sucked harder than she’d intended. His game ceased, and she softened, puckering around his strong pulse.

“Mmm…” he murmured. “You could calm a battlefield with those lips.”

She slid her fingers into his hair as she pressed closer, kissing again and again; and it made her heady, as if he’d bathed in wine. He swept her hair aside, exposing the sensitive dip between her shoulder blades, and as his hand spanned bare skin, she quivered with an internal throb she’d never felt before. Her heart stuttered then sped, and warmth surged her veins, intensely flaring in some areas while soothing others.

Summary

When Drake started the night at his father’s campaign fundraiser, he never imagined he’d end it being conned into buying drugs on the West Side. Losing high-stakes poker has its consequences, but he’d repeatedly face them just to hear Lacey Douglas sing. Drake sees Lacey light up the stage, and he has to have her. But his intentions for being on her side of town turn out to be the reason he can’t.

Chicago native Lacey has dreams of the opera, but life has its obstacles. Lacey has come to know her hardships as part of living in the real world and accepts them fully. When Lacey meets the intense and invigorating Drake, a fire is lit inside her, unleashing those dreams again.

Two paths that should have never crossed prove to create the exact pairing the other needs. But when their worlds take time to catch up, everything they have is tested. Finding the space between the two sides that challenge them will be hard, but it’s the only place that will keep them together.

Excerpt
Drake.
Lacey called out my name as I pushed into her. I claimed her. Possessed her. Her body was smooth; hot, everywhere I touched her. And I touched her everywhere.
            Drake.
She moaned when I touched her there. She really liked being touched there. I’d have to remember that for the future.
            Drake, wake up.
Wake up? My eyes shot open. Lacey’s chocolate-brown eyes stared right at me.
In a panic, I grabbed my sheet and rolled off the opposite end of the bed. Wrapped up in the bedding, I hit the floor.
She gasped from above. “Drake? Drake!” she whispered her call, shimmying my bed with her movements. “Oh my God. Are you okay?”
She didn’t appear above me yet, so I held up my hand so she wouldn’t. “Lacey, don’t look down here.”
The movement on my bed stopped. “Why?”
            “Because I am naked.”
            “What?” she squeaked.
“I’m naked, Lacey. Can you please hand me my jeans beside my bed?”
“Oh my God, Drake. I’m so sorry. I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have come in here. Oh, I’m so sorry.”
My lips tight, I nodded once against the hardwood floor. “I’ll wait.”
            “Oh, right. I’m so sorry.”
Shimmying sounded from above, then my jeans fell from the air and hit my head. I managed to get myself untangled from the bedding, and got the faded-washed pair on.
            “Are you still naked?”
Chuckling, I pushed myself off the floor.

Summary
Plainful child. Akari is really attracted by the popular Unit of idols "Flower”.
Then Akari get the chance to sing at the Flower's center?! But what is the secret that Flower keep…?!

Review
This manga is short but so sweet in the way the character develops. Though there is little romance it is a cute story. I just wish there was more but it's fine for a oneshot manga.

We get to see how Akari grows more assured of herself. Instead of her normal shy self she grows confindent as she joins the group Flower. Though she isn't sure of herself with the help of the members of Flower she realises that she is a member of this group and can live up to what the fans wish he to be. Since this is a short story i can't say to much or a might spoil this manga.

Oh I do find how Akari can look at a dance once and copy it almost exactly. She probably has some sort of photographic memory to be able to do that, but the story doesn't go into that. Nyu and Karou are cute and bother are uniqe it makes you wonder if the manga should have been longer to tell there story and more of Akari's story.

Design

The design is shojo style of course and seeing the boys dress up as girls you will never notice it was them unless you can pick out small aspects that will show you they are boys. As you can see with the characters in the picture on the left the only girl in the picture is the girl in the middle. The two on the sides are boys. The author loves putting in details into the clothes and each outfit is different. I really like this mangaka's drawing style.
