Summary

New soul
Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

No soul
Even Ana's own mother thinks she's a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she'll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

Heart
Sam believes Ana's new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana's enemies--human and creature alike--let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else's life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

Jodi Meadows expertly weaves soul-deep romance, fantasy, and danger into an extraordinary tale of new life.

My Thoughts on Book
This book is so close to home at the beginning of the book, hearing what her mom did it made me cry a few times. I even had to try to stop myself from crying on the bus it was that sad for me. I was glad when it got happier after that though. I loved everything about this book, seeing with such low ratings on goodreads I just couldn't believe it. This book is really science fiction like because I know for sure it doesn't really take place on earth maybe a different reality though. In all this book took me two days to finish reading it.

Ana is such a strong characters, to put up with how her mother treated her, to be brave on going out on her own when she doesn't know much. She is very brave and I would love to be just like her. When she meets Sam she doesn't know how she should act because when she was with her mom she couldn't do anything she wanted to do. She was even told she wasn't suppose to have feelings. Sam slowly made her open up to him and tell him things she loves. She is very passionate about music and Sam uses that to make her open up a bit more. Ana runs into Sam when she was running away from a mythical creature that can burn you badly with just a touch. Even though Sam is like everyone else who lived for over 5000 years he doesn't treat Ana differently. He takes care of her and even starts to feel something for her. He's a really nice guy who loves music as well and wants to take care of Ana any way he could. Even though he's old and knows a lot he does have fears that Ana tries to help him with and that probably brings them even more closer together.

The romance in this book is very slow but it was a good built up. Ana starts to have feelings for Sam she never felt before and when she tries to react on those feelings Sam turns away. He doesn't know if they should be together or not because she might only be around for only a short while. You can see though that he also has feelings for her as well. I love how they interact and I love that Sam would do anything for Ana and will even be with her no matter what!

The plot is so great I love it so very much. To see that these people can be reincarnated so many times and then someone new appears and no one knows what to do it's just so great. I love just about everything about this book and I can't wait for the second one.

Design

I think everyone can agree with me when I say this cover is so very beautiful! Everything about it is eye catching and you would want to look at this book right away when you spot it in a book store. Not to mention the butterfly wings in front of her face is so pretty you can't help but wish you had the mask too haha. The Title and Author name is place nicely at the bottom, I love the font they use and the small design behind the Title.

Overall
I highly recommend that everyone read this book if your into Science fiction, mythology and Romance.
